1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, accessing, or using the NutriKata app ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("the Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Service description
NutriKata is a nutrition-tracking app that lets you log meals, water, weight, and physical activity, with the help of AI-based analysis tools. The App is provided by Edo Galizia (TriFinger Dreams).
3. Age requirements
You must be at least 13 years old to use NutriKata. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the App.
4. User account
To use the App, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
5. Permitted use
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the App to violate any applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's systems or other users' accounts
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App without authorization
- Upload content that is unlawful, offensive, or infringes third-party rights
6. AI-generated content
The App uses artificial intelligence (via Anthropic) to analyze meal descriptions and photos and estimate nutritional values. These estimates are approximate and provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute medical or nutritional advice. Always consult a qualified professional for decisions regarding your diet or health.
7. Premium features
Some features are available only with a Premium subscription, billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annual) through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Manage or cancel your subscription through your store account settings. Refunds are handled according to the policies of the Google Play Store / Apple App Store.
8. Intellectual property
All content, features, and functionality of the App (excluding user-submitted data) are the exclusive property of Edo Galizia (TriFinger Dreams) and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
9. Limitation of liability
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Edo Galizia (TriFinger Dreams) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the App, including but not limited to reliance on AI-generated nutritional estimates.
10. Suspension and termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, in case of violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account.
11. Changes to the terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Italy, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights applicable in your country of residence.
